The White Lotus
Staying close to the visuals and inspired by Mozart’s string quartet tradition, the cue for the title sequence of season 2 of The White Lotus (2022) takes an unexpected twist in the second half as the music follows the odd and violent images. Enjoy the modern synths and drums in the last part, bringing you closer to more present times.
This cue was recorded with a string quartet in Studio One, Windmill Lane Recording Studio, Dublin, December 2024.
The White Lotus
The seaside village is waking up and so are the characters in this episode of The White Lotus (2022), season 2. The cue starts with a shy and delicate piano opening of a heartfelt underscore, patiently building up a warm, emotive specter of sounds, culminating in the scenic view shot of Ethen. Enjoy the little ear candy guitar plucks skattered all over.
The White Lotus
Harper is high after a dinner with her friends and she is about to have a one-on-one conversation with Daphne. The eerie underscore suits the atmosphere really well for this unsettling, psychological scene from season 2, The White Lotus (2022).
The Shining
This is my attempt on a scene from Stanley Kubrick’s classic 1980 psychological horror film the Shining. Notice how much effect can the orchestra have on the viewer if we emphasize the unpleasant and disturbing sound combinations and timbres.
This disturbing cue was recorded with a 21-piece orchestra at Studio One, Windmill Lane Recording Studio, Dublin, December 2024.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Wait for it! This is one of my favorite cues! I put a lot of work in crafting the orchestration and the structure of this rescore of the title card for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The airy music follows the vastness of the open scenery and brings sense of playfulness and adventure.
This cue was recorded with an orchestra in Sierra Studios, Athens, August 2025.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Also another one of my favorite cues. The narrative goes through so many changes and of course Zelda as Dragon is the cherry on top! Watch out for the tears she cries as she soars through the sky.
Bee and Puppycat
This rescore of scene from the quirky show Bee and Puppycat (2013) pushes my inner experimentator in a very different direction. The music intertwines with the sound design to create excentric characters and a very unusual story. I had the most fun in this rescore as I deliberately tried to stay away from overthinking.
Pyjamas (Short Film)
This project was so exciting to work on! The short drama tells the story of the tragic loss of a younger sibling. It conveys feelings of tension, sadness, loss, hope and love! The sound pallet is employing hybrid orchestration, using a string ensemble and electronics. The project is done in collaboration with Saoirse Kennedy - a third year student of the Film and Broadcasting course in TU Dublin (2025).
Melancholia
For this rescore I wanted to stay true to the deeply emotional nature of the origial music with its slow motion, many intertwining voices and emotionally saturated harmonies. Watch how the beautiful images are followed by their destruction and this is reflected in the music, until we arrive at the majestic planet shot where you can feel the mightly power of the full symphonic orchestra.
This cue was recorded with a 44-piece orchestra in Sierra Studios, Athens, May 2025.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Listen to how the dialogue and the music are complimenting each other, but never in each other’s way for one of my favourite film scenes of all time. The woodwind ensemble brings out even more of the quirkyness of the main characters and enhances the emotions their conversation is going through.
The woodwind quintet is recorded in Windmill Lane Studios, Dublin, March 2025.
Blade Runner 2049
I am also interested in using synthesizers and electronics in my cues and this is an attempt to create tension and anticipation in this action rescore of the Blade Runner 2049 scene. In this cue I am trying to get closer to the Hollywood action and sci-fi sound. Notice the metal hits samples in the mix during the fight. They make the situation seem pretty bad and the protagonists - relentless.
